Ready to dive into distilling, but unsure how to piece together your home still? Check out these complete systems that will set you on the path to producing high quality spirits. This kit comes with the Turbo 500 Electric Boiler and the Turbo 500 Copper Condenser.

The Still Spirits T500 boiler is ideal for pilot distilling and hobbyists alike. Designed and assembled in New Zealand, the T500 allows you to collect an astonishing 95% of the possible alcohol from your wash. The unit is constructed from stainless steel and boasts a 25 L capacity with 1800 watt integrated element, boil dry reset, faucet adapter for ease of water flow adjustment, thermal cut out fuse and waste discharge tap.

The Still Spirits Turbo 500 reflux condenser works on the principles of ceiling temperatures, where it prevents chemical substance above a certain boiling point being processed. Unlike other reflux condensers on the market, the Turbo 500 works with a focus on the water flow and controlling the temperature of the water flow out. Assuming that the temperature of the water flow is stable, it is able to create a ceiling threshold temperature based on the water flow out.

Reflux stills are preferred in the production of high-purity, flavorless and odorless spirits.

Kit Includes:

  • Turbo 500 Electric Boiler
  • Turbo 500 Copper Condenser

Assembly Note: In order to attach the condenser to the lid of your boiler, you will need to unscrew the nut at the base of the condenser. Be sure to hold the condenser upside down while unscrewing the nut. The T500 condenser comes prefilled with copper and stainless steel saddles. These saddles are loose and will spill out if the base nut is removed while the condenser is in the upright position.

Warning: Distilling alcohol without permits or licensing is illegal in many countries, including the United States.  It is the customer's responsibility to research their local, state, and federal laws and abide by those laws. Stills can also be used to produce essential oils, vinegar, purified water and engine fuel (requires permit in USA).
