Omega Yeast is having the swankiest soiree under the sun and you're invited! The second installment in Omega's Thiolized™ series is bursting with aromas of passion fruit, dank pink guava, and citrus zest—the perfect choice for "punching up" your next West Coast IPA. Star Party™ is an enhanced version of their beloved Chico strain (West Coast Ale I) that is designed to boost thiol biotransformation while retaining the clean fermentation profile and clarity of its parental strain. The Thiolized process enhances the ability of yeast to unlock thiol precursors bound within malt and hops to create the kind of tropical character associated with Southern Hemisphere hops. If you've been looking for the perfect yeast strain to make a crystal-clear Juicy IPA, this is it!

For best results, use Phantasm Powder during whirlpool to add Thiol Precursors to your wort before fermentation.

For a Thiolized strain that's geared toward Hazys, check out Omega's Cosmic Punch™ Ale (OYL402).

Please Note: For best results we Always recommend ordering an Ice Pack with your liquid yeast. Ice Packs can be found above.

Available only in the US. While we would love to make these strains available internationally, many countries regulations do not yet allow the sale of organisms developed using modern gene-editing, regardless of the type of modification introduced by the technique. Please feel free to contact us for more information!

**Patent Pending

Please Note: When choosing an ice pack option beware that the liquid yeast will not arrive cold even when shipped together. Ice packs and insulated mailing options are designed to keep the yeast colder for longer during shipment, but they will not ensure that your yeast arrives cold. We will not replace liquid yeast that arrives warm. During warmer months we strongly recommend you choose dry yeast.
