Bvumbwe BSP is a mid-grade white tea, harvested from a local Malawi cultivar named "Bvumbwe" in honor of a small, nearby town. BSP refers to the tea's "Broken Special Pekoe" grading. The fragmented leaves result in a more robust, full-flavored tea that infuses quickly. The tea is harvested from just one specific field on the Satemwa Estate grounds.
The profile is full of warm, sweet flavors and fragrances, with notes of baked bread, white peach, and honey. Texture is full-bodied with a sharp finish. Brews quickly to a dark, honey-like color. Ideal for everyday tea service, or for blending or iced tea.

Recommended Brewing Instructions: Use 2-3g of leaves per 8oz (240ml) of water. Brew at 185F for between 1-2 minutes. This white tea is not too sensitive, but it has a high surface area from the fragmented leaf, so be careful not to oversteep the leaves or use too many leaves.
