The 1500 Grit Diamond Stone is an excellent abrasive for removing scratches from an edge. It makes a terrific addition to any Wicked Edge kit. The Glass Platens opposite the stones are for mounting and using our Diamond Lapping Film.

We’ve had great success in creating razor sharp results and mirror finishes when using the 6 and 3 Micron Diamond Lapping Film after the 1500 Grit Diamond Stones.

One grit and one glass platen (2 each)

If you choose to add on the Diamond Lapping Film, it is a great option to refine and sharpen your edge at a very fine level. It is also great if you are looking to achieve a spectacular polish on your knives. Each sheet comes with 10 pre-cut strips that are sized for Wicked Edge handles and each strip will last for approximately 5-8 sharpening sessions. Diamond Lapping Film is a longer lasting and faster cutting abrasive than sandpaper and it is better suited for polishing metal. This product should be used with the Blank Handles and Glass Platens Pack. The films are peel-and-stick so they are very easy to apply to and remove from the glass platens. 1 sheet containing 10 strips of your choice Micron Diamond Lapping Film.
